Family Support Caregivers provide a range of services and supports delivered in the home or in the community that promotes the independence, health and well-being, self-determination, and community inclusion of a person who has significant, long-term physical, cognitive, sensory, and/or behavioral health needs.

Caregiver jobs in Family Support can include supporting individuals who need constant care and supervision to continue living in their homes and communities of choice as well as provide support for families through respite care.  Family Support Caregivers support Individuals who require the services of In Home Care due to disability, mental illness, medically needy, and/or multiple chronic conditions.

Because Individual care needs are unique, caregiver jobs  will differ with each client.
 Caregivers assist clients in the client’s home and community.   Caregiver job tasks will be different for each client, as job duties are assigned in accordance with the client’s individual care plan. Working in Caregivers jobs you will care for clients in the client’s home and community providing services essential to the client’s safety and care.

Experience working with children or adults is needed for this position. Training is available as needed for each applicant. To work with CSSOW, you must also be 18 years old and have a clean criminal background.
